  5. South West Indigenous Businesses On Show At Sundowner

The capabilities of South West Aboriginal businesses were showcased on October 31 at a sundowner to mark Indigenous Business Month.

The sundowner, at the Bunbury Dolphin Discovery Centre, was attended by about 40 Aboriginal businesses and corporates.

Kali Group Directors Sharni Bennell & Erin Studsor both attended the event and enjoyed networking with many others.  Both Sharni and Erin said it was fantastic hearing about many great opportunities around the corner for the South West region including the upcoming Bunbury Outer Ring Road project.

Indigenous Business Month is an initiative of the MURRA Indigenous Master Class Program, with a goal to promote Indigenous businesses nationally.

The event in Bunbury featured a range of local Aboriginal artists, and the sounds of Bunbury band Warangka.
