Are you energetic, fit and motivated?
Do you enjoy being outdoors and working within a team?
Do you want to kick-start your career while learning on the job from industry experts?
If the answers to these questions are a resounding YES, we want to hear from you!
Who you’ll be working with
You will get the chance to work alongside a close-knit team at the City of Bayswater. They are experts in their field and are committed to providing *top-notch* training the next generation of Arborists! These guys have been in the industry for over 10 years each, so they really know their stuff (you’re definitely going to want to listen to what they have to say).
To compliment this, our team at Kali Group are also very good at what they do. We will be beside you every step of the way to support you and ensure you are on track to kick some serious goals during your traineeship!
What you’ll be doing
We are offering a 12 month full time traineeship for a suitable candidate to complete a Certificate II in Aboriculture. You will complete all paid, hands on work experience per week with the City of Bayswater team for the duration of the traineeship.
You will be working towards being able to efficiently and effectively trim and dismantle trees by using complex climbing techniques, whilst ensuring safe work practices.
Upon completion of the Certificate II, there will also be the opportunity for you to carry on and complete a Certificate III in Arboriculture the following year – this means that you would walk away from the experience as a fully-fledged Arborist!
What you’ll need to bring to the table
This is an amazing opportunity that we won’t be giving to just anybody. To be considered for this traineeship, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and qualities:
- The ability to work well within a team environment
- Be committed to safe work practices (you can’t cut corners in a role like this)
- Have a positive attitude towards learning and be willing to listen and take instruction
- Be reliable – your team will count on you to be present and punctual
- Be physically fit and motivated to work – this is a very physical and hands on job
